The Staff Selection Commission www.ssc.nic.in will conduct an open examination for recruitment to the posts of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF). Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). Sashastra Seema Bal (SSS), National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles as per the Recruitment Scheme.
Total No. of Vacancy: The total number of 54,953 vacancies for Constable (GD) Examination in CAPFs.

Pay Scale : Rs. 21700 – 69100
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification : Matriculation or 10th class pass from a recognized Board/university.
Age Limit : Min – 18 years & Max – 23 years (As on 1st August 2018)

Selection Process:
The recruitment process will consist of
- Computer Based Examination (CBE)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Physical Standard Test (PST)
