Job Description:
1. Responsible for creating technology solutions to meet business requirements, in line with Cluster and Group IT Strategies and Architectures.

2. Takes responsibility for ensuring that solutions adhere to architectural and quality standards and policies.

3. Working with the relevant project manager and Lead Solutions Architect, responsible for ensuring that the outcomes delivered by projects are consistent with the original solution specified. This will be achieved by reviewing project design artefacts and the impact of significant change requests.

4. Provide hands on software development at a senior level to include design, software development, automated testing and automated deployment

5. Keeps up-to-date on the wider industry regulations, standards and trends.

6. Maintain and contributes to current developments in the relevant technical specialism (s) within Technology.

7. Decision-making and problem solving

8. Promotion of innovation, quality and exploration of new ideas as a culture

Qualification: B.E/MCA or equivalent

Skills:
1. Experience of working within Financial Services

2. RDBMS development experience (e.g. Oracle) & SQL skills

3. Experience of using the Git source code control system

4. Experience of developing software for multiple Operating Systems (e.g. Linux, Windows)

5. Experience of working within a regulatory driven change environment

6. Knowledge on UI technologies like HTML, JSP, Java Script, Angular JSAppreciation of Event Driven Architecture & Domain Driven Design

7. Experience of working on Nexus, Groovy,

8. Experience of using test automation tools (e.g. Selenium)

9. Experience of using the Git source code control system

10. Experience of software development within the Payment Industry
