Job Role:       Software Engineer – Java, API, Springboot, Genesys, Contact center

Job Description:
1. Drive user story analysis and elaboration, design and develop software applications, and test and build automation tools

2. Own all technical aspects of software development (architecture, design and development of systems) for assigned applications


3. Perform hands-on software development, typically spending about 50% of time writing code, API specs, doing proof of concepts, conducting code reviews and testing in ongoing sprints

4. Drive consistent development practices – tools and common components

5. Develop deep understanding of tie-ins with other systems and platforms within the supported domains

6. Work with technical product managers contributing to blueprints, and assisting with annual planning of feature sets

7. Identify opportunities for adopting new technology to solve existing needs and predicting future challenges

8. Effectively communicate to internal and external business partners on solution design

9. Mentor other engineers.

Qualification: Bachelors Degree in CS or CSE or Equivalent

Experience: 2 – 6 Years of past experience across

Required Skills:
1. Design and development using Java, J2EE

2. Continuous integration/deployment in an Agile Framework covering the aspect of design development and testing (SDLC)

3. DevOps and test driven development
