Job Role:       Software Engineer

Job Description:
1. Responsible for development and enhancement of features within the Teradata database kernel area on all supported platforms.

2. Design, develop, code, test & debug system software

3. Review design and code

4. Support feature test teams

5. Provide post production support

6. Proven working experience in software engineering

Qualification: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science

Experience: 2 to 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in R&D based teams

Required Skills:
1. Solid programming experience in C/C++

2. Strong data structures and algorithms fundamentals

3. Strong debugging experience in Linux OS

4. Understanding of cloud enablement features that are required to be developed for Teradata software

Preferred Skills:
1. Working knowledge of UNIX operating systems is highly desirable

2. Exposure to cloud platforms

3. Understanding of RDBMS concepts

4. SQL Knowledge
