Required Skills:
1. Strong knowledge of Core Java in a UNIX/Linux Environment

2. SQL and Relational Databases such as DB2 and/or Sybase

3. Sound understanding of Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming, Data

4. Structures and Algorithms

5. Experience with Testing frameworks (jUnit, Mockito)

6. Unix shell scripting

7. Familiarity with revision control systems, Perforce/Git /CVS/SVN

8. Integration technologies – MQ/Xml/SOAP/JSON/Protocol Buffers/Spring

9. Understanding of the SDLC, SCM, Agile and scrum methodologies

Desired Skills:
1. Experience with big data/NoSQL technology such as Elastic, Solr

2. Exploration of analytics & machine learning technologies

3. Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Patterns, GoF designs

4. Knowledge of the Trade lifecycle

5. Exposure to one or more MVC web development frameworks (eg: Angular, React etc.)

6. Experience with full lifecycle application testing (functional, regression, performance, integration, etc.) and delivery management

7. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
