• Ph.D. (Chemistry): Pursuing on the topic Computational Molecular Modeling Studies on Anti-HIV1 Reverse Transcriptase Inhibitors under the supervision of Dr. Nitin S. Sapre (Professor and Head, Department of Applied Chemistry, SGS Institute of Technology and Science.)
• SRF (TEQIP): I was awarded Senior Research Fellowship (SRF), Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP), World Bank Project, SGSITS, during Ph.D. from March 2007- March 2009.

Title: “QSAR analysis of styrylquinolines-a new class of HIV-1 integrase inhibitors” March 2004-April 2004
The work involved use of Computational Modeling techniques to understand the Structure Activity Relationship in a Quantitative Manner. Use of Advanced molecular modeling software including Sybyl 6.9, CAChe, Biosuite, Sysstat was made to perform the study on Silicon Graphics Workstation (under IRIX environment) and Personal Computer (under Windows Environment).
The study was performed on styrylquinolines to study their anti-HIV potential. The results have given an in-depth understanding of the structure activity relationship of the aforementioned series of compounds.
