Job Role:     Quality Assurance Engineer

Basic Qualifications:
1. 1+ year of experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer

2. Experience in manual testing

3. Experience in automation testing

4. Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of technical education and experience

5. Experience in handheld devices is desired

6. Knowledge of UNIX environment and Shell scripting is desired.

7. Experience in Java/Perl/Python based automation and/or user-level

8. Ability to understand technical specifications and analyze log files

9. Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Customer scenario testing experience

2. Reporting skills, proficient in creating status reports based on automation results

3. Demonstrated expertise in testing methodologies, experience with standard QA and development tools, and the ability to operate within short release cycles

4. Product experience with wireless consumer electronics

5. Highly methodical test discipline, applicable to all product UI

6. Shows creativity and initiative to improve product coverage and effectiveness

7. Experience with API automation testing including unit test automation frameworks

8. Experience with Android, iOS or other mobile application development or testing

9. Experience working in a UNIX/Linux environment and utilizing virtual machines
