Job Role:       Software Engineer

Job Description:
1. Package applications on various OS flavors.

2. Automation and CI/CD activities.

3. Ability to code and script, backed by effective and reliable test cycles.

4. Be able to handle frequent, incremental code/script testing and deployment.

5. Handle customer issues with the required level of maturity and sense of urgency.

Qualification: B.Tech/M.Tech Computer Science

Experience: 2 – 4 years of experience in Scripting and automation.

Technical Skills:
1. Strong Scripting experience preferably with Shell, Python and Perl.

2. Experience in packaging and installation on various flavors of UNIX, Windows and Mac OS.

3. Packaging experience using WiX toolset (or InstallShield) on Windows would be a plus.

4. Experience in Ansible (similar automation tools)

5. C/C++ programming skills and good knowledge of data structures would be a plus.

6. Good knowledge of SQL (ANSI/Database specific) and RDBMS.

7. Teradata and Data Warehousing knowledge would be a plus.

8. Working knowledge of AGILE and SCRUM methodologies

9. Ability to work with Architects and Engineering Managers and translating concepts to products.
