Job Role:         DevOps Engineer

Job Description:
1. You will have the responsibility of supporting and helping development team with build and CI/CD pipeline improvements.

2. You will work towards making production service highly available and do root cause analysis in case of failures.

3. Deploy an end to end environment for design, development, testing and to production

4. Define the system landscape, identify gaps between current and desired end-states and deliver solutions

5. Manage development life cycles, review and provide technical guidance to team members

6. Programming our current infrastructure and deploying it on native IAAS/PAAS

7. Work closely with the Operations and Engineering teams related to DevOps, infrastructure and beyond

8. Analyze and harden existing infrastructure, automation, application coding and DevOps process

9. Design and develop a continuous deployment pipeline, GitHub, Jenkins and Docker for servers hosted

Education:
1. BE/B.Tech or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent from recognized institutions.

2. BE/B.Tech, ME/M.Tech, MCA with 60% aggregate across.

Experience: 3 – 8 years of experience in Infrastructure and/or Development Operations.

Skills:
1. Experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipeline and Docker containerization

2. Strong hands-on experience with major DevOps tools and technologies

3. Administration of Linux OS

4. Scripting experience with Groovy, Shell and Javascript

5. Administration of Kafka, RabbitMQ

6. Experience with Docker

7. Logging and Monitoring: Grafana

8. HTTP/TCP Load-balancing and Proxy: Nginx, Apache

9. Experience with zero downtime / blue-green deployments
