Job Role   :    Performance Test Engineer, Lead

Job Description:
1. Design and implement performance, scalability, stability, and stress tests using industry standard tools and custom developed software written in Ruby/Scala/Java

2. Ability to distil volumes of data, analyses performance results, and diagnoses performance problems

3. Contribute performance tunings and refactoring on the entire stack of the Coupa platform

4. Be an evangelist for performance engineering best practices and tools

5. Work in an agile environment where quick iterations and good feedback are a way of life

6. Continually look for opportunities to improve our platform, process and business

7. Analyse and debug difficult server performance issues, identify bottlenecks and optimize product/service performance to improve user experience.

Candidate Profile:
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Skills:
1. Load testing and profiling expertise of multi-tier system

2. Experience in Performance Analysis and troubleshooting of production systems

3. Experience in troubleshooting and identifying performance issues at application, platform and infrastructure

4. Experience with query optimization and web stack tuning (garbage collection, caching, throttling)

5. Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly, and apply them accurately through an evolving, dynamic environment

6. Demonstrated working proficiency of one of the languages: Ruby, Java, or C++

7. Strong knowledge of continuous integration and delivery concepts

8. Working knowledge of application profiling tools

9. Great communication and collaborative
